Jamie & Nic's Marquee Wedding at Newtimber Place

Jamie and Nic's wedding at stunning the Newtimber Place was all about classy and relaxed style The wedding was a very special family affair at Jamie's families home in West Sussex.  Jamie and Nic planned everything all the way from Australia and had a clear vision from the start on the style they were after and we worked with them  to create an eclectic mix of delicate florals in different shades of pastels.

We also created a colourful display of bud vases at the entrance to the the church to welcome the guests  and they were then all moved to decorate the reception area after.

Every arrangement created had a natural asymmetrical feel and we loved creating the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets to match with the different shades and styles of bridesmaids dresses. The tall and wispy delphiniums created height and the mutli-coloured dahlias and roses in various colours and sizes created a gorgeous mix.

We also provided plenty of confetti for the guests to toss after the ceremony and to me really the confetti shots are always my favourite, especially ones like this that have the gorgeous back drop of this stunning traditional Sussex church.

After the ceremony it was a short walk back to Newtimber Place where guests mingled before heading to the reception that was all set up in a gorgeous clear span marquee

The setting was just stunning and we decided to keep the reception flowers very simple.  The marquee was lined with trestle tables, laid with pastel table clothes and candles and we created an assortment of bud vases in various sizes, filled with pastel shades of delphiniums, dahlias and garden roses.

I just loved the entire process of creating the flowers for this gorgeous wedding. The theme was a rainbow of pastels but delicate and subtle and not to compete with the abundance of flowers already growing in the established flower beds that could be seen all around through the clearspan marquee.6019FA16-A184-41C0-B638-4F17CCC6DD73jpeg
