Lucille and Matt's Intimate Barn Wedding at Selden Barns

From the moment I met Lucille and Matt they knew they loved gypsophlia and wanted their wedding flowers to reflect this. Gypsophlia otherwise none as babies breath is one of the most popular wedding flowers, that we use. It looks lovely mixed in with other flowers but to me it really shines when used on it's own. 
Gypsophlia used in it's own takes on an almost cloud like appearance and just looks so gorgeous and dreamy and works especially well in a barn setting.  Lucille and Matt's ceremony was indoors and Lucille wanted a wow factor so we created these stunning urn arrangements filled with fluffy dreamy gypsophlia and touches of pale pink roses.

If you have read any of my past blogs you will know how big I am on reusing your flowers and this is exactly what we did with Lucille and Matt's ceremony flowers. All of the floral arrangements  were moved after the ceremony into the reception barn. The ceremony table arrangement went onto the top table and the urn arrangements were positioned behind the top table to create a statement piece.

The reception barn at Selden has some gorgeous huge ceilings and Lucille and Matt worked with local venue decorators To have and to Hire to create a stunning display hanging from the ceiling.

For the flowers we wanted to keep with the same flow as the ceremony and compliment the pink and white theme and we designed a mix of low table arrangements arrangements and tall flute arrangements with a mixture of fluffy gypsophlia and a mix of gorgeous roses in whites with hints of pink.  The low arrangements also had candles in tall glass clyinders around them to complete the look and create a cosy atmosphere in the evening when they were all lit up.

The barn looked just magical and when we saw Lucille on the wedding morning her words were "It looks even better I could have imagined" That is just what we love to hear and always my favourite part of the whole wedding process is to see the vision my couples had come to life.
