Sam and Benji's gorgeous June wedding at Denbies Wine Estate in Surrey was one of my favourites this summer. We spent a lot of time on getting the perfect mix of light peach, with hints of blue and just subtle touches of orange to bring the theme all together and tie in with powder blue bridesmaids dresses. We created all of the bridal party flowers (bouquets and buttonholes, ceremony flowers and flowers for the reception tables, but the main feature was the Pavilion.
Sam wanted to have a wow feature and the Pavilion area was the perfect place to make an impact. It was the first place the guests gathered for drinks before and after the ceremony and was a perfect backdrop for photos, especially confetti shots!
We believe in repurposing as many of your wedding flowers as possible and all of the ceremony flowers were moved to the reception area The gorgeous lanterns that lined the aisle were used for the gift table, ceremony table flowers were used for the reception table and we filled vases with water ready for the bridesmaids and bridal bouquets to be placed on the bar area.
Sam & Benji like their Gin and wanted to incorporate this into their theme. They collected an assortment of colourful Gin bottles which all of the guest tables were named after. Such a special touch and it looked lovely in the setting. We filled the Gin bottles with bunches of garden roses, spray roses, germinis, delphiniums, lisianthus and dainty asters flowers and displayed them on mirrored trays on all of the guest tables.
We loved getting to know Sam, Benji and their families through the wedding process and hope you got some floral inspiration from their gorgeous day. Planning your wedding flowers takes time and we are here to guide you through the process. If you are planning your wedding for 2024 or beyond we would love to hear from you.
